Is the extra paint set necessary for all kits?
Most customers don’t need extra paint, but if you prefer layering or tend to paint generously, a backup set can be handy—especially for larger or detailed designs.
Do the numbers show through the paint?

I love this print by Inge Look. Rather than Two Old Ladies Drinking Coffee, I saw two old ladies hiding in the dark going through as many books as possible before they are banned. The colors were beautiful.

Van Gogh paintings are my favorite to do! The dude was a flat out genius. Love the colors in the “Sunflowers” painting. Quality canvas and paints. This is my 3rd VG so far.
The canvas in this kit is colored which I appreciate as it helps me to move faster. Although it is only 8x8, the details are small and took longer than I expected (plus I had to use magnifier glasses). Clear directions, plenty of paint, and a large copy of the PNB were included in the kit.
My only negative mention is color #24 (2289) is VERY light -- almost no difference between the white color.
I also bought the other snowy scene that goes with this particular one. I will do that later!
