Shipping policy

Painting by Numbers Shop® (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website https://paintingbynumbersshop.com. By placing an order through this website, you agree to the terms outlined below. This Shipping Policy sets out our order processing, shipping, delivery, return, and related practices.

1. General

Our paint by numbers kits are prepared for each order, and we do not operate a traditional stock-based inventory for these products. Tools and accessories are subject to availability.

If a tool or accessory becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact you as soon as possible. You may choose to wait for the item, select an available alternative, or receive a refund for the unavailable item to the original payment method.

2. Shipping Costs

All shipping amounts below are stated in U.S. dollars (USD). Eligibility for free shipping is based on the order value shown at checkout. Products shipped directly from our U.S. production facility are subject to the separate flat rate listed below.

We currently do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. Shipping to military addresses may be arranged on request; see Section 4.6. The applicable shipping charge is displayed at checkout and collected at the time of purchase.

3. Returns

3.1 Returns Due to a Change of Mind

Painting by Numbers Shop® accepts returns due to a change of mind when the return request is submitted within 30 days of receiving the item.

Returned products must be unused, in resellable condition, and in their original packaging.

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping. Once the returned items have been received, inspected, and accepted, the value of the returned products will be refunded to the original payment method. We do not issue store credit in place of a refund.

We will notify you by email once the refund has been processed. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where reimbursement is required by applicable law.

This exclusion does not affect any rights you may have under applicable law if a product is faulty, damaged, or not as ordered.

3.2 Warranty Returns

Painting by Numbers Shop® will honor valid warranty claims submitted within 90 days of receiving the items.

Customers must initially pay the return shipping costs. These costs will be reimbursed if the warranty claim is approved.

Once the returned items have been received, we will normally process the warranty claim within seven days.

After the claim has been approved, you may choose either a refund to the original payment method or a replacement item, subject to availability.

This warranty policy does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.

4. Delivery Terms

4.1 Domestic Processing and Transit Times

Domestic orders are normally processed within 1–2 business days. Once an order has been dispatched, the estimated transit time is 5–8 business days. Transit times are estimates and begin on the date of dispatch.

4.2 International Transit Times

International shipments are generally in transit for 5–10 business days. Actual delivery times may vary depending on the destination and shipping provider.

A more specific delivery estimate may be displayed at checkout when available.

4.3 Dispatch Times

Orders are processed Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Orders placed on weekends or national holidays will begin processing on the next business day. When closures occur, we will take reasonable steps to minimize shipping delays.

4.4 Changes to the Delivery Address

We can update the delivery address at any time before the order has been dispatched.

Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed.

4.5 P.O. Box Shipping

We strongly recommend using a physical street address and providing a valid telephone number with your order. Delivery to a P.O. box can be less reliable and is limited to postal services; courier delivery is not available for P.O. box addresses.

4.6 Military Address Shipping

Shipping to military addresses may be available on request. Please contact us before placing your order so that we can confirm whether delivery is possible. Courier delivery services are not available for military addresses.

4.7 Out-of-Stock Tools and Accessories

This section applies only to tools and accessories. If part of an order containing tools or accessories is temporarily out of stock, we may dispatch the available items first and send the remaining items separately once they become available. We will notify you if this affects your order.

4.8 Delivery Delays

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us so that we can investigate the shipment with the shipping provider.

5. Tracking Notifications

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking link by email.

The tracking information will allow you to follow the shipment based on the latest updates provided by the shipping carrier.

6. Parcels Damaged in Transit

If a parcel appears to have been damaged during transit, please reject the delivery where possible and contact our customer service team.

If the parcel was delivered while you were not present, please contact us as soon as possible for further instructions.

7. Duties and Taxes

7.1 Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax is included in the product price.

7.2 Import Duties and Taxes

Import duties and taxes applicable to international shipments are included in the purchase price. The treatment of duties and taxes may vary depending on the destination country.

8. Cancellations

You may request an order cancellation at any time before the order has been dispatched.

9. Shipping Insurance

Parcels are insured against loss or damage up to the amount covered by the shipping provider.

9.1 Parcels Damaged in Transit

We will process an approved refund or replacement after the shipping provider has completed its investigation into the damage claim.

We will process an approved refund or replacement after the shipping provider has completed its investigation and officially declared the parcel lost.
